Lindsay Yaw/Founder/CEO
Lindsay is the CEO (Chief Everything Officer) and the visionary behind BeThree.com (after getting fed up with the lack of cool, relevant health info on the web). Lindsay has an extensive background in online and print media journalism. As a freelance writer and editor, Lindsay’s work has been featured in several national online and print publications such as MSN.com, Yahoo.com, Outside, Men’s Journal, National Geographic Adventure, Shape, Backpacker, Women’s Adventure, Trail Runner, The Yoga Journal, Skiing, Powder, Delicious Living, and more. Lindsay was the field dispatcher and editor in a media team for MSN.com who had the exclusive on Ed Viesturs’ historic ascent of Annapurna, as he became the first American to climb all 8,000-meter peaks without supplemental oxygen. She has been featured on NPR for an in-depth (human lab rat) article on the effects of hypothermia on avalanche burial victims, and worked with Yahoo.com’s special projects team on several new media projects. Formerly, Lindsay held positions as an editorial intern at Outside Magazine in Santa Fe, NM; a Health/Fitness and Gear Editor at Skiing Magazine in Boulder, CO; a contributing Senior Editor at She Sends Magazine in Boulder, CO; and a contributor for Backcountry Magazine.
