Ranging from 6200 8000 feet, this has to be one of the highest grown coffees in the world. This small 15 hectare farm is situated on a terraced mountain-side above the Takesi River valley. The famed Inca trail meanders through the organically grown heirloom variety Typica coffee trees. The meaning Takesi in the pre-Incan Aymara culture meant "jolt" or "hard kick" which perfectly embodies the intense flavor of the coffee.
